We would like to recruit:
Rp 10.800.000- starting monthly salary (gross) and excellent benefits
to provide support to a team of consultants working on a European Union funded project designed to support good governance by strengthening the institutional capacity of the judiciary in Indonesia. This position will be offered for a fixed period of 1 year, with the option of an extension for the remainder of the project up to end December 2008, subject to satisfactory performance. The position is available from May 2006. The successful applicant will work closely with the European Team Leader, other consultants, and British Council staff. The position is based in Jakarta with a limited amount of travel within Indonesia.

Key duties of this post include:

- managing project and contract finances to agreed European Commission and British Council standards
- providing logistical and administrative backstopping to the project consultancy team
- preparing statements of account, reports and invoices
- assisting the Team Leader in the submission of project reports and other project documents

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:

- a strong track record in project management – an ability to plan and deliver clear outputs within budget, time and to stakeholder satisfaction, and to achieve sustainable results
- at least 3 (three) years work experience in the administration of Multilateral Agency funded projects (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Commission), including financial control and administration
- proven IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
- determination and tenacity in overcoming obstacles
- relationship building skills to help us achieve positive outcomes in our work
- flexibility and professional confidence
- good team working and interpersonal skills
- the ability to operate effectively in English (to a standard equivalent to an
- International English Language Testing System [IELTS) score of at least 7)
- fluent Bahasa Indonesia
