OCCIDENTAL PETROLEUM of OMAN

OPERATIONS:

Steam Generator Operator (06-172)
Technical educational background with 5+ years experience in operating oilfield steam generators. Tasks will include operating and maintaining oilfield steam generators, fuel, air and feed water pumps and delivery/distribution systems.

Mechanical Systems Engineer (06-229)
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ year’s Mechanical engineering experience in oilfield equipment. Duties will include modelling plant processes and equipment, optimizing operations and maintenance support of all tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, fired-heaters, piping, process control systems, and rotating machinery.

Electrical & Instrument Foreman (06-161)
Technical education with 10+ years experience in oilfield electrical and instrumentation. This is a working foreman position that will include the planning and supervision of all preventive maintenance and repair tasks associated with electrical equipment and instrumentation.

Mechanical Foreman (06-160)
Technical education, with 10+ years experience in oilfield electrical and instrumentation. This is a working foreman position that will include planning and supervision of the maintenance and repair tasks associated with field mechanical and rotating equipment.

Senior Electrician (06-233)
Technical education with 10+ years experience in oilfield electrical wiring and troubleshooting. The Electrician will be responsible for planning and performing all preventive maintenance and repair tasks associated with oilfield electrical equipment. The position should be skilled in both low voltage and high voltage (<600 volt) applications.

Communication Technician (06-234)
Technical degree with 5 years experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of two-way radio communications The Communications Technicians will install, maintain, and repair communications equipment and monitor base station towers, install and calibrate radio equipment, ensuring the proper frequencies.

Automation Technician (05-326)
Technical degree with 10 years experience in instrument calibration, process logic control, and communication protocols. The Automation Technician will develop and maintain programmable logic controller (PLC) software, Human Machine interfaces (HMI), and maintain interfaces between oilfield instruments and automation servers.

Gas Turbine Specialist (06-157)
Technical degree with 10 years experience with gas turbine generators (Solar preferred) and heat recovery steam generators. The Power Generation Turbine Specialist will be responsible for daily operation and maintenance of the Solar Turbines and associated equipment.

FACILITIES:

Commissioning Technician (Rotational) (06-235)
Btech/HNC or similar, preferably in Instrumentation / Automation/Control or in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Minimum of 8 years experience in maintenance, production operations and/or commissioning, including hands on experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industry. Development and review of commissioning sequence, detailed planning, mechanical completion checks, start-up and performance tests.

Early Steam Systems Field Engineer (Rotational) (06-236)
This position requires a B.Sc. Degree or equivalent with 5-10 Years experience. Responsible for optimizing the start up and stabilization of water treatment, steam generation and steam injection systems.

Instrumentation and Control/Automation Engineer Senior (06-237)
Technical degree with 10 years experience - Able to develop procedures to industry standards. Sound knowledge of current I, C&A technologies. Experience of instrumentation fundamentals (electronic and pneumatic), communication protocols
Allen Bradley and general PLCs, HMI, SCADA, CCTV, ESD/F&G, fibre optics, SIL/IEC, hazardous area classifications and Telemetry Systems essential. Responsible for development of sub-ordinates, and technical guidance to major contractors.

Instrumentation and Control/Automation Engineer (06-238)
Technical degree with 5 years experience - Able to follow established procedures and industry standards. Knowledge of current I, C&A technologies. Design and implementation experience of instrumentation fundamentals (electronic and pneumatic), communication protocols, Allen Bradley and general PLCs, HMI, SCADA, CCTV, ESD/F&G, fibre optics, SIL/IEC, hazardous area classifications and Telemetry Systems essential.

Project Engineers (06-239)
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of five years direct experience in multi discipline oil and gas development projects. Familiar with PMI tools and techniques for project management, including progress and cost reporting and project planning. Specific experience required in any one or more of oil processing, power, utilities and steam systems.

Electrical Engineer (06-240)
B.Sc Degree with 8-10 years relevant experience. Accountable to manage and coordinate all assigned Facilities Engineering projects from inception through to closeout with responsibility for all electrical matters

Pipeline Construction Supervisor (06-241)
HNC or equivalent with 5-15 Years relevant experience. Minimum of five years direct experience in onshore pipeline construction supervision.

Facilities Scheduler (06-242)
HNC or equivalent with 5-15 Years relevant experience. Minimum of five years direct experience in multi-discipline, multiple concurrent oil and gas projects scheduling using Primavera suite of programmes

QA/QC Inspector-Piping/Mechanical (06-169)
HNC or equivalent with 5-15 Years relevant experience. Minimum of five years direct experience in piping/mechanical construction QA/QC

QA/QC Inspector-Electrical/Instrumentation (06-243)
HNC or equivalent with 5-15 Years relevant experience. Minimum of five years direct experience in electrical/instrumentation construction QA/QC.

Piping Mechanical Engineer Lead (06-244)
BSc in Mechanical Engineering with 20+ years experience in design/supply of piping and mechanical equipment for oil and gas developments - including 10 years practical field experience. Caesar II, Autocad, 3D pipe-routing /modelling, mechanical handling studies, piping codes, welding procedures, equipment foundation design, dynamic transient stress analysis, pressure vessel codes and design (ASME VIII), vapour compressors and heavy duty centrifugal pumps. Technical Authority, responsible for development of sub-ordinates.

SUBSURFACE:

Thermal Production Surveillance Engineer (06-073)
B.Sc or higher degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years direct experience in petroleum engineering related work, and emphasis on Production Engineering. Prefer strong background in heavy oil and thermal operations and reservoir monitoring techniques.

Reservoir Engineer (06-109)
B.Sc or higher degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent degree (Post-graduate is preferred), 10 years or more of reservoir engineering experience with Five (5) or more years of experience with VIP/ECLIPSE/CMG or other commercial simulation software and strong reservoir modelling skills in Black oil simulation.

DRILLING:

Drilling Superintendent (06-152)
B Sc in Engineering plus 10 years drilling engineering experience / demonstrated proficiency. The Superintendent is the primary point of contact between the office and the drill site and will supervise the Drill Site Managers, work with them to ensure that materials, persons and equipment are on site when required. You will help formulate plans, evaluate and mitigate the risks when deviations are required and be the Administrator of the Drilling Rig Contract and keep the Drilling Manager informed of operations.

Drill Site Manager (06-222)
B.Sc in Engineering and a minimum of 7 years pertinent experience, this position is the Senior Person on site supervising drilling and completion operations

Drilling Engineer (06-146)
B.Sc in Engineering plus a minimum of 8 years drilling engineering experience with demonstrated proficiency. You will work closely with the well construction team in preparation of the drilling and completion program.

OPERATIONS:

Maintenance Engineer (ON210)
This position requires a Technical educational background of BTech/HNC or similar, preferably in Instrumentation / Automation/Control or in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Minimum of twelve years experience in maintenance, production operations and commissioning, including hands on experience in Petrochemical Industry, preferably at offshore installations.

Operations Engineer (ON211)
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum with Ten years solid experience in production / operations engineering in Oil & Gas industry and strong working knowledge of well remedial procedures, artificial lift systems, and production facilities.

Production Engineer (ON212)
B.Sc Degree or equivalent with 5-15 Years experience. Responsible for optimizing Oil production, water & Gas injection on a daily basis which will include SCADA surveillance, testing & sampling programs, gas lift trouble shooting, maintaining production databases and system optimization using GAP/Prosper.

Instrument Reliability Engineer (ON-213)
B.Sc in Engineering Field with a minimum of seven years practical “hands-on” experience as a Maintenance Instrumentation Engineer in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry, preferably with offshore operation. Must have experience with automation and control systems, preferably ABB Bailey DCS Infi90.

Senior Drilling, Completion & Work-over Engineering Advisor (ON214)
B.Sc Degree in Petroleum Engineering with a minimum of 20 Years relevant experience. Directly accountable for the Drilling, Completion & Work-over of Wells including cost estimation, design/procedures, execution support and reporting.

OFFSHORE OPERATIONS:

Instrument Lead (Offshore) (OF410)
HNC or equivalent with 10-15 years experience in the general maintenance & repair of Instrumentation in an Offshore installation and assisting the planning / scheduling of Works as required.

Mechanical Lead (Offshore) (OF411)
HNC or equivalent with 10-15 Years relevant experience. You will actively perform general maintenance & repair on all mechanical equipment in the Offshore installation.

Senior DCS Operator (OF412)
Technical Qualification with at least 7 years experience in both the onshore and offshore oil / gas or Petrochemical Industry Operations Control Room environment. Knowledge of the PTW system, Working knowledge of Process Plant, Wellhead, Wireline and Drilling. Experience in interfacing with Maintenance, HES departments to ensure company requirements and standards are maintained.

Production Operator (OF413)
High National Diploma (College or Technical Diploma) with Five Years production related experience in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry and a good understanding of production systems & process equipment (pumps, compressors, separators, and chemicals).

Electrical Technician (OF-414)
HNC or similar Technical qualifications with 8-10 years experience with Hands on participation to execute all day to day maintenance activities on offshore locations, routine and non-routine, breakdown and shutdown.

Instrument Technician (Offshore) (OF415)
HNC Technical qualification with 8-10 years relevant experience, you will be responsible for maintenance & repair activities on all Instrumentation equipment in the Offshore installation.

FACILITIES:

Projects Cost Engineer (FN110)
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 5+ years experience in Project Cost Engineering. Report, monitor & analyze cost and schedule performance for Facilities Projects, prepare PAR estimates/revisions and overall cost monitoring of Facilities Projects.

Electrical Engineer (FN111)
Chartered Electrical Engineer with 15 yrs+ offshore oil & gas experience. You will be accountable as Project Manager to manage and coordinate all assigned Facilities Engineering projects from inception through to closeout and Sole responsibility for all electrical matters within OPQL.

Lead Systems Engineer (FN-112)
B.Sc in Engineering with 15 years experience of automation, telecoms & instrument design predominantly in and oil and gas environment OR a HNS/HND qualification in Instrumentation with apprenticeship and 20 years experience.

Piping Mechanical Engineer (FN113)
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Ten years Piping/Mechanical engineering experience with a minimum of three years within the offshore oil and gas industry.

Project Engineer (FN116)
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of Five years direct experience in multi-discipline oil and gas development projects.

RESERVOIR ENHANCEMENT:

Reservoir Engineer (RN310)
Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent degree, a Minimum of eight years of direct experience in general Petroleum Engineering related work is required. Four of the eight years of experience needs to be “hands on” reservoir engineering experience

Project Geologist (RN311)
Minimum, Bachelors degree in Geology with 8+ years of experience in the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry. Able to apply sound geological principles to recommending and implementing the rate and reserves from the reservoir(s) they are assigned. Accountable for development and maintenance of ongoing reservoir description efforts. Through the use of the latest appropriate technology ensure that reservoirs are effectively and appropriately described.

Geophysicist (RN312)
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Geophysics or Geology with a minimum of Five years experience in both production and exploration roles.


OCCIDENTAL PETROLEUM of YEMEN

Manager, Facilities Engineering & Construction
Minimum BSc Degree in engineering with at Least 15 years O & G industry experience of which 8 years ideally have been in FE & C projects. This is a key management position responsible and accountable for managing the infrastructure development projects and operations support activities for Occidental’s Yemen assets.

Supply Chain Manager
Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Business Law, Economics or related discipline, a minimum of 10 years in Oil Field Contract Administration with experience in bid evaluation and contract negotiations is required as is experience in the Coordination of contracts, MSA (Master Service Agreement), Service Agreements, Bid Packages, and Bid Waivers.
