VACANCY
We are a coal mining company, managing mine operations and a world-class coal terminal in South Kalimantan. To support its business growth, the company is searching for a high potential candidate for the following position:
MANAGER - ENGINEERING (Code: MGRE)
Based in Kalimantan. This is a senior staff position reporting to the General Manager - Engineering & Development. He/she is responsible for managing all mine planning and geological aspects such as strategic long term planning, life of mine planning, mine closure planning and liason with site management and marketing.
Required Qualifications:
• S-1 Degree in Mine Engineering or Geology.
• 8 - 12 years experience in the coal mining industry.
• Strong operational experience and technical skills with mine planning software such as MINCOM is preferable.
• Demonstrate an understanding of exploration techniques, ability to interpret regional and local geological trends and knowledgeable in geological modeling and development of coal deposit models.
• Demonstrate superior skills in the evaluation of mining technology, mining methods and the development of strategic mine plans.
• Capable of developing capital and operating budgets associated with coal mine developments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent language skills.
• Able to work in team environment displaying leadership.
• High commitment to safety standards & business ethics.
• Good understanding on the global coal business will be an advantage.
