PT Avocet Bolaang Mongondow (PT ABM), a gold mining company located near Lanut, Bolaang Mongondow, Sulawesi Utara, is inviting applications for the following position

SENIOR PRODUCTION GEOLOGIST

Principal Accountabilities

- Review, develop and maintain the production geology and grade control procedures in accordance with both site and corporate requirements.
- Maintain the grade control and production geology database, including reconciliation against known geological reserves and resources.
- Liaise with other production related departments to ensure that grade control priorities conform to mining and ore production requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong communications with all relevant departments.
- Manage the production geology team and provide leadership, training, coaching and succession planning.
- Continue to liaise and support the regional exploration team by determining and providing information relating to any geological knowledge that may have been accumulated during the mining and grade control process.

Technical Competencies

- An Earth Sciences Degree from a recognized tertiary institution.
- A minimum of ten years of production geology experience within the industry, preferably in gold mining.
- Strong computer skills, extensive exposure to grade control and mining software packages, reconciliation processes, and ability to maintain ad administer geological databases.
- Possess strong leadership and team building skills.
