BUSINESS LINE ACCOUNTING MANAGER – ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION

A senior position has become available for the above role in our organization. This is a key role with excellent future career path prospects and we are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team.

PREREQUISITES:

Education:
S1 (BS) Degree in Accounting from a recognized university. Additional postgraduate studies would be an advantage.

Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years accounting experience in a managerial role.
• Experience should preferably be in a senior accounting role for organizations operating in construction contracting.
• Senior accountants looking to make the move from a first tier public accounting firm with significant exposure to construction companies are also encouraged to apply.
• High level of English, both written and verbal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing the entire accounting function for Petrosea’s Engineering & Construction business line. Which includes:
1. external and internal reporting.
2. taxation compliance and planning.
3. project financial analysis.
4. prospect financial analysis.
5. budgeting.
6. forecasting.
7. cash management.
8. working closely with project teams and other related functions in the division.
9. manage project accounting function for all projects in the business line.
10. responsible for managing and developing the accounting team in the business line – including senior accountants and project accountants.
11. actively demonstrate a commitment to Petrosea’s culture of continuous improvement.

REPORTING LINE:
This position will report functionally to the Financial Controller with line reporting to the Engineering & Construction business line General Manager.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• High level of organization skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Team player.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff in organization.
• A ‘can do’ attitude, with a hands on approach.
