Country Operations Manager-Indonesia

PT. Fircroft Indonesia is the latest business unit of one of the world's largest oil and gas manpower management organisations.

The company specialises in contract labor outsourcing and recruitment activities on behalf of key global clients.

PT. Fircroft Indonesia requires an experienced and responsible country operations manager, Indonesian or expatriate, to represent the company and drive the business in Indonesia.

The successful candidate shall report directly to the Asia Pacific Regional Manager (Bangkok), and will display a sound track record in business development and organisational management in the oil and gas and mineral resource sector.

The job function is varied and will suit an ambitious professional who wants to implement their own characteristics and talent towards growth and development of multinational company's business unit.

Training will be provided where required.

Responsibilities:
• Managing team members and balancing work requirements
• Assisting in building up office systems
• Direction setting for short, medium, and long term group objectives
• Positioning the company optimally in a competitive market whilst maximizing global industry brand name
• Working with accountant with regard to tax management, profit and loss forecasts and budgets
• Communicating with the S E Asia regional manager at the regional base in Bangkok
• Dealing with relevant authorities/government departments
• Negotiating and meeting with existing and new clients
• Administering recruitment and recruitment support functions for both local and expatriate contract staff.
• Paying of bills and other start up and operating expenses
• Procurement of essential office equipment where required

Key Attributes and Personal Requirements:
• Experience in oil and gas, mineral resources sectors
• Excellent understand of Indonesian business protocols and processes
• Good communication skills, written and spoken English, Bahasa Indonesia
• Self starter with good organisational skills and the ability to use initiative to the benefit of the company
• Confidence to talk and communicate with foreign client representatives
• Ability to discuss business and opinions with regional manager
• Good command of MS office systems
• Recruitment/HR experience
• Mature, self motivated, reliable and able to work unsupervised for significant periods
• Pleasant, well mannered and trustworthy
• Excellent employment package for the right candidate
