ConocoPhillips is an international, integrated energy company headquartered in Houston, Texas, with operations in more than 40 countries. As a Production Sharing Contractor for BPMIGAS, we operate many producing and exploration blocks in Indonesia. To support our expanding operations in Indonesia, ConocoPhillips is looking for experienced Indonesians to fill Economist/Financial Analyst positions in the Economics & Planning Department in Jakarta.
ECONOMIST/FINANCIAL ANALYST
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct economic analyses, determine cash flow, earnings and other financial metrics on company assets or opportunities, and provide Management with recommendations that assist in making decisions which optimize value.
• Model and analyze investment decision alternatives utilizing financial concepts of time value of money, discounted cashflow analysis, IRR, and calculation of earnings/cashflow.
• Compile/analyze strategic financial information and forecasts, developing integrated projections and analytical reports for presentation to local and global senior management.
• Coordinate reporting and communication of business performance with regional/global offices in Singapore/USA.
• Apply creativity, innovation, and numerical skill in financial modeling and statistical and probabilistic approaches to problem solving.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Engineering with a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.5 from a reputable university.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills - both Indonesian and English.
• “Expert Level” skill with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
