Distribution Engineer/Analyst

• Ensure HSSE of depot operation from engineering perspective
• Maintenance job of all Shell’s equipment at depot
• Liaise with depot maintenance, maintenance contractors and cluster engineering team
• Support distribution Indonesia in analysis and management information.


Main Contacts:
• Internal: Cluster (Malaysia/Singapore/Indonesia) engineering team, operation team
• External: Terminal, maintenance contractors.

• University graduate from a reputable university majoring in Electrical Engineering
• Master’s Degree an advantage
• Two to five years’ experience in engineering roles
• Outstanding fresh graduates from tier-1 universities, such as UI/ITB/ITS may be considered
• Familiar with working environment in a multinational company
• Proven experience in Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) project implementation experience
• Diligent, attention to detail, yet have speed in doing job
• Good English communication skill (including with foreigners)
• Willing to travel extensively to terminal and transporter base if required.

Material Planner - Packaging & Third Party Production

• Plan for efficient packaging material supply and third party production
• Manage and monitor performance of packaging material suppliers
• Manage and monitor performance of third party toll filling/blending contractors
• Provide and monitor COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) for SKUs being repacked/produced in third party facilities and propose/lead initiatives to drive efficient cost
• Support marketing specialist in new locally repacked/produced SKUs introduction with regards to packaging design and communicate/execute with respected contractors/suppliers
• Support internal and external audit.

• Graduate from a reputable university (Engineering or Finance)
• Knowledge in supply chain management discipline
• Knowledge in inventory and capacity management
• Experience in managing contractors/suppliers contract and performance
• Manufacturing and logistics operations experience
• Lubricants business experience, preferably in Supply Chain
• Posses excellent computer skills
• Experience with integrated SAP/ERP systems, in particular Supply Chain Planning Tools
• Demonstrated analytical capability
• Ability to work as a team member.

B2B Direct Field Based Account Manager (Metal Industry)

• Deal with key accounts and other direct B2B customers
• Plan customer calls and visits to provide appropriate level of service to existing and new customers with a focus on retaining/expanding existing business relationships
• Increase the value for existing Shell customers through cross, range and up selling
• Understand the activity, business and needs of customers, provide sound information and advice on products and services, and to sell and negotiate win-win solutions with customers
• Plan, monitor and achieve individual and team sales targets (e.g. revenue, margin, growth, and trade debtor target)
• Develop, update, maintain and communicate the account plan
• Review and plan customer business, products, service packages, contracts, prices, credit terms, credit limits and, debt
• Carry out negotiations with customers, prepare quotations and proposals and agree on all operational requirements (including price, contract, payment terms and services)
• Work with other Shell teams and third parties (e.g. KAM, OBAM, SM, Distributors, etc.) where necessary to provide an efficient and cost effective service to the customer.

• Bachelor’s Degree from reputable university

Operations & IT Analyst

• Provide timely information to CSO (Customer Service Operation) on the performance of CSO in order that timely decisions are made to ensure service level is met (including KPI reporting and analysis)
• Proactive in all forecasting, scheduling and reporting functions to optimise productivity and utilisation of contact centre’s resources
• Responsible for efficient operations, including telephony, infrastructure, ERP and non-ERP applications
• Provide first level service and system support related by monitoring transactions and providing the support function to initiate and maintain accurate transactional data
• Create, analyse, and report KPI’s and service level performance for CSO, providing daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports in the stipulated timeframes and as required by the CSO Manager, team leaders or quality assurance
• Regularly review operations performance and be able to provide immediate snapshot views on health of operations, summarising findings for operations teams and individuals
• Maintain complete accurate data records regarding performance metrics of individuals and the operations
• Involved in CSO IT developments, Sun System remodeling and Sun System implementation or any other initiative that impacts Customer Service Operations.

• Bachelor’s Degree from reputable university
• Understanding/working knowledge of the CSC (Customer Service Centre) Strategy Process methodology
• Good level of knowledge of Sun System, MS Office, Windows and Internet as well as above average PC skills
• Technical background and excellent understanding of customer service technologies, that includes ERP system in OU environment not only for transactional processing, but also for supplying information to support customer facing area, process KPIs, etc
• Work very well in a team, coordinating and providing guidance to CSP (Customer Service Professional) and all involved in the process of servicing customer
• Demonstrate commercial awareness - ability to manage budgets and reduce operation costs
• Demonstrate strong time management skills enabling flexibility to respond to urgent customer needs
• Technical English Level a must along with excellent analytical skills.

Retail Planning Manager

• Support the business development team to identify key market areas and facilitate land acquisition
• Conduct market studies on feasible business locations
• Understand and resolve issues quickly by maintaining close working relationships with key local authority personnel
• Strong negotiation skills
• Understand land classification systems
• Liaise with government for building permits.

• Business Master’s Degree in any field of study (MBA)
• Six to eight years’ experience in business development
• Real estate experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Experience in managing a team
• Mobility essential.

Retail Business Development Manager

• Comprehensive understanding of customers’ attitudes, behaviours and motivations and analyse these trends to explore and identify new ways of growing the business
• Possess the clarity and insight to initiate, develop and build a coherent set of long term goals for your own area that are well aligned with global retail strategies and objectives
• Ability to inspire those around you to follow organisational vision
• Evaluate contractor performance and manage financial aspects of construction works to maximise cost efficiency
• Engage appropriate stakeholders. Identify appropriate resources and ensure that challenges encountered are promptly addressed
• Display an exemplary high standard of skill in negotiation, interpersonal relationships, time management and legal and contractual disciplines and issues
• Demonstrate ability to build rapport, trust and understanding with others and to manage business relationships at all associated levels
• Support the business development team to identify key market areas and facilitate land acquisition.

• Essential: Master’s Degree in Business (MBA)
• Preferable: Engineering exposure
• More than 10 years’ experience in business development and leading a team

Legal Adviser

• Provide regular reports to the Head of Legal
• Assist Head of Legal in providing legal advise to Shell management and business function
• Advise Head of Legal and management on any changes in regulations and its impact to Shell related business for his/her assigned business function
• Handle any legal matter arising from company business activities related to his/her assigned business function
• Provide bi-weekly progress report for any legal matter under his/her review and handling
• Handle contract drafting and its execution for the business function activities

Sales Executive (Bitumen)

• Develop new road bitumen accounts
• Liaise with public works, road and airport authorities for specification and sale of road grade bitumen
• Liaise with distributor/contractor for any related technical matter on project segment and retail segment
• Liaise with west distributor of retail segment, build direct relationship and work closely with the retailers
• Ensure delivery schedule and work closely with supply team
• Manage product forecasting
• Meet the target of road bitumen and specialties business
• Responsible for specification and sales of Shell Flintkote product to architects and engineers.

• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university with Engineering background, preferably Road/Civil Engineering
• Preferable experience in road grade bitumen or building material sales
• Five to seven years’ relevant experience
• Outspoken with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently, self-motivated and willing to travel intensively within the country
• Fluent communication in English - both written and spoken
• Customer oriented, experience in retailer management or B2B, good understanding of business and competition.

Retail Liaison Manager

• You will support the General Manager in the engagement of external stakeholders and various special projects
• Principally involved with engagement of stakeholders at the business level (key external stakeholders, such as ministries and regulators involved in the oil and gas industry)
• A substantial component of the job will also involve special projects.

• Essential: Master’s Degree in any field of study
• Preference: MBA or equivalent
• Eight to 10 years’ experience in a multinational company environment
• Experience in managing interface with government
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong presentation skills in Bahasa Indonesia.

Retail Project Engineer

• Build retail outlets whilst enforcing standards of general business principles
• Manage construction activities with strict compliance to health, safety, security and environment policies
• Implement project management system to manage construction and activities
• Understand and comply to standards, schedules and budgets
• Coordinate and secure building permits
• Manage performance of civil contractors
• Deliver construction projects within agreed time, cost and objectives.

• Essential: Degree in Civil Engineering
• More than five years’ construction experience (preferably of medium scale projects)
• Safety and quality experience
• Strong evidence of project management skills
• Vendor and contractor management
• Previous government liaison work preferred.

Retail Sales & Operation Territory Manager

• Manage around 20 retail stations
• Develop and grow the business performance in term of HSSE, QQS (Quality, Quantity, Service), People and Finance (sales and site profit)
• Involved in the recruitment of qualified retailers
• Coach and support retailer competencies
• Develop retailer master plan within designated territory
• Protect Shell reputation
• Support retailer site staff training.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a reputable university
• Experience in retail operations in a top retail or other best operating company in Indonesia an advantage
• More than five years’ relevant experience
• Customer oriented, experience in retailer management, good understanding of business and competition

Retail Business Development Planner

• Analyse competitive market survey data, traffic counts/flows, customer types/mixes, post implementation reviews from similar investments
• Use appropriate criteria to evaluate, determine and recommend optimum technical site layouts from all available options
• Develop comprehensive recommendations on site selection, layout and offerings based on personal experience and professional expertise
• Identify and acquire for retail expansion
• Conduct property market study for suitable locations
• Handle day-to-day real estate management issues.

HSSE Focal Point - Supply Distribution and Commercial Fuels

• Manage, plan and implement the various programmes and initiatives in Supply, Distribution and CF included in the fields of Health, Safety, Security and Environment
• Member of the Corporate HSSE team. Act as local HSSE focal person and directly responsible for the implementation of the corporate and regional initiatives
• Develop and implement programmes and initiatives that will enhance HSSE awareness amongst all Supply, Distribution and CF staff and ultimately direct shifting to proactive HSSE culture
• Provide advice and assistance related to HSSE all storage points within Supply, Distribution and CF. It is also the HSSE Adviser’s responsibility to manage/administer the Supply & Distribution HSSE information system and data including liaison of HSSE audit findings (internal/group and external) with other appointed parties, incident statistics, analysis and corrective measures
• Assist Supply & Distribution and CF management in developing HSSE performance indices (KPI, scorecards and other performance measures) and to monitor performance against target
• Monitor the HSSE performance of Supply & Distribution and CF through proper recording and analysis of all HSSE related incidents, and to make sure that incidents are coursed through and/or reported to proper authorities
• Analyse Supply & Distribution Incident Statistics for management reporting requirements and to properly identify areas for enhancement. After having identified the areas for enhancement, formulate workable solutions (via assessment tools), in tandem with S&D leadership team, to address the problem.

• University graduate from a reputable university with major in Mechanical, Process and Electrical Engineering or Physics
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety an advantage
• Four to eight years’ experience in HSSE or eight years’ experience in oil and gas industry or related business, such as engineering, construction, chemical and refinery
• Computer skills (able to work Microsoft Windows Based Application - Outlook, Excel, Words, PowerPoint)
• Strong awareness of occupational health and security in general
• Good skill to carry HSSE audit and investigation, statistic data analysis, improving HSSE awareness and behaviour
• Mature, proactive, honest, disciplined, quick follow up, outgoing, able to lead and transform a diverse workforce to deliver result
• Good written and oral communications and presentation skills.
