A growing international oil company based in Jakarta is requiring professional with international experiences to join the team.

INFORMATION SECURITY IT OFFICER

The incumbent will be responsible for:
• Manages information security functions in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
• Establishes and maintains information security standards and procedures in compliance with company information security and risk management policies, standards and guidelines
• Reviews the development, testing and implementation of security plans, products and controls techniques; also functions as an internal consulting resources of information security issues.
• Conducts & reviews information security risk assessment programs in order to comply with information security policies and associated procedures.
• Coordinates information security efforts with the Internal Audit Department.
• Evaluates new geophysical software applications and coordinates third-party geophysical studies as well as geophysical consultants
• Provides periodical reporting on information security issues to IT Manager and analyzes security incidents and escalation of security events
• Coordinates information security orientation and awareness programs.
• Assists in coordinating plan, execution, monitoring and evaluate for testing of activities also contingency plan tests on a regular basis.
• Identifies and assess, IT security risk/exposure on new and existing infrastructure, investigates and recommends appropriate corrective actions for IT security incidents.

Job Specification:
University graduates with degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication / Industrial / Electrical Engineering or informatics, with minimum 5 years of computer & IT security system. Must have a solid understanding of information technology and information security (including firewalls, VPNs, penetration testing and other security devices and services). Should have experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation.
