SENIOR MANAGER NETWORK MAINTENANCE (Code: 160/1903)

The Senior Manager Network Maintenance will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the GSM/UMTS network; including core, radio and VAS elements, working with regional managers to ensure network availability, strictly adhering to company service level agreements and budgets. This responsibility will include managing the following:

• Budgetary management
• Policies and procedures
• Fault management
• Spare parts
• Workforce productivity and training

The Senior Manager Network Maintenance will be part of the Management Team of the Network Managed Services, and to a large degree be given the possibility to influence on decisions taken in the Team.

Candidates must have the willingness to work in a start-up organisation and as part of the Management Team participate and contribute to establish a service oriented organisation.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering or related discipline, have a minimum of 7 years experience in mobile network operations with a minimum of 3 years network operations experience in a managerial role, and good technical understanding of UMTS and GSM networks. The ability to communicate on a higher level in English, verbally and in writing, will be emphasized.

Candidates should possess the ability to work under time constraints and be able to adapt to changes, possessing good pragmatic and strategic thinking and have excellent motivation skills.

The successful candidate will have cross-cultural tactfulness, the ability of independent problem solving, have analytical and time management skills, excellent organisational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.'The candidate must be self-driven and proactive as well as being very team oriented.
